Insignias are special patterns or logos unique to each pre-merge tribe which stands as a sort of 'calling card'. They first appeared in Survivor: Brazil, and have been present in every season since, usually found somewhere on the tribe buffs.
Design
Insignias are usually based on the motif of the season or symbols present in the local culture. It can range from simple circular designs, to floral patterns, tribal markings, or animal drawings.
