Territory Wars is a twist that featured in Survivor: All-Stars. It is a twist to the pre-merge game of a season, and awards the tribe that owns the most "territories" at the merge with a reward with will help their progression through the later stage of the game. In All-Stars, the Seraing tribe won the reward as they had the most territories at the merge.
Reception[]
The twist debuted in the sixth season, Survivor: All-Stars, as an additon to the World War One theme of the season. In this season, there was a three-tribe format for the first four days, which later became two when the Leuven tribe was disbanded on Day 5. When the two remaining tribes merged into Roeselare on Day 8, the Seraing tribe had three peices of territory, while the Charleroi tribe had just one. Seraing therefore won the reward. The reward and subsequently the whole twist did not have a very large impact on the season as a whole, however it was positively viewed as a good twist idea which could have had a major impact in the right type of merge situation.
