Total Democracy is the eighth episode of Survivor: Mongolia.
Episode Summary[]
- Immunity Challenge: Jump the Gun
Back at camp, Sam observed the move he had made, and compared himself to better version of Cochran. Meanwhile, Stephen was still attempting to fit the pieces together and figure out who flipped, while Ty decided that he needed to turn on threatening mode to try to recover his place in the game. The Kerait Five, however, were jumping for joy that they were now the majority. Tom saw that Stephen and Ty had to be the next two people to go, while Tyler claimed that he was the one who had got Sam to flip to Tatar. Tyler was planning to use Sam later in his on-going quest to take Logan down. Logan, however, also took credit for Sam's jump of allegiances, and aimed to continue the pagonging of Tatar. At the Immunity Challenge, Stephen knew he had to win as he was probably Kerait's no. 1 target. However. Immunity ended up in the hands of Tyler. Following the challenge, the majority discussed voting out Josh, as they thought he was the leader of Tatar. However, Logan convinced them that it was better to vote out Stephen, as he could become a large challenge threat. Meanwhile, drama had corrupted within the crumbling Tatar alliance. After Sam denied flipping to the Kerait Five, Josh immediately pointed the finger at Stephen, as he had sided with Ethan at the final Tatar tribal. Stephen denied it, and anger broke out. Ty attempted to calm down the situation unsuccessfully, and it wasn't until Sam confessed it was him that the situation died down. Stephen then set his eyes on trying to survive the vote by trying to get Sam to stay with Kerait and Tyler to join them. Tyler, however, felt he was in total control of Kerait, and decided to keep it that way, and the pagonging continued with Stephen becoming the first member of the Jury in a 6-3 vote.
